NorForge documents autonomous website intrusions using Cairn agents
NorForge found more than 20 exposed Cairn panels it assessed as likely malicious and validated website compromises. Reuters independently reviewed attacker activity and identified victims, including Deere and SharkNinja; both acknowledged incidents, with Deere reporting no indication that sensitive information was accessed.
ThereforeVictims must investigate exposed credentials as well as compromised websites.
